NEW EVENING STAFF MEMBER
Please help us welcome our new evening building coordinator, Will Willis, who is starting today. He will be working 2:30 – 10 Monday – Friday. After 5 pm he will be at the 5th floor reception desk and during the day his office is room 853. Jeremy will be working the day shift (8 - 4:30) going forward.

LAST FURNISHINGS ARRIVING
The last of the sofas and chairs for the common areas are being delivered today. They were delayed because of weather last week.

UPSTATE BUSINESS JOURNAL WHO’S WHO AWARDS
UBJ is hosting their first annual Who’s Who event on Thursday night. It starts at 6 pm but they will be here all day Thursday decorating and setting up. They will be utilizing the lobby, auditorium, and roof terrace as well as the coat check area and catering kitchen. There may be some storage overflow into the small conference rooms or classrooms on the 5th floor but we will not disrupt any rooms with scheduled classes. This is an invitation-only event and the first major event hosted by an outside entity. Please avoid the 5th floor as much as possible during set up and the event itself.

ART DISPLAY ON 5TH FLOOR – INSTALLATION/RECEPTIONS
This Friday I will be installing paintings in the hallway surrounding the 5th floor auditorium. The hallway may be slightly messy during this process. There will be two receptions – a private one on February 22nd from 6-8:30 pm and a public open house on March 1st 6-8:30 PM. The work will stay up during the week in between. Please steer clear of the 5th floor on the 22nd as it is an invitation-only event for my Kickstarter backers. If you would like to come to the March 1st reception please do – it will be an open house – invite friends and family if you like. Please be careful not to bump the work when walking by because some of it may still be slightly wet.  (These are the 66 paintings from Route 66 that I have been working on for the last two years - if you have any questions or feedback I’d love to hear it).
