Human Factors and Ergonomics Society mission is to promote the discovery and exchange of knowledge concerning the characteristics of human beings that are applicable ...
All members and nonmembers are invited to submit their work for consideration. The proposal should be up to five formatted pages, as specified in the Call for Proposals. Papers that have been published previously or presented at another professional meeting may not be submitted.
All research and analyses described in your proposal must be complete at the time the proposal is submitted. The sole exception to this policy is for student work submitted for consideration in the Student Forum track, in which case the proposer may report on work in progress.
Marc Resnick Best Paper Award
We have created an annual Best Paper Award (Marc Resnick Best Paper Award) to be given to the best submission at the annual meeting, beginning in 2012. This $1,000 award will be presented at the Technical Group business meeting during the conference. Each year, the program chair will send the five highest-reviewed CSTG papers to a special committee. The conference reviewers will select the five best papers submitted to Computer Systems Technical Group (CSTG) and Internet Technical Group (ITG) and schedule them all for a special session. The best paper will be announced and receive a $1,000 award during User Experience Day. I hope that the award will motivate you to submit your best proposals to CSTG and ITG. I hope that we will see you in Austin, TX.
Thank you,
