Quantitative Methods
Donald L. Harrison College of Business
Southeast Missouri State University
Primary Responsibilities
Teach face-to-face and online undergraduate and graduate-level courses
in quantitative methods including business statistics, management
science, operations management, and supply chain management. Successful
candidate will also conduct research leading to refereed publications in
national journals, advise undergraduate students and participate in
department, college, university and professional service.
Required Qualifications
* Ph.D./DBA in quantitative methods/decision sciences/operations
research/production operations management/engineering management/supply
chain management or related field. ABD candidates will be considered.
(Degree must be from a regionally accredited or internationally
accredited/government certified university)
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Demonstrated potential for high-quality, effective teaching
and quality scholarly work
* Proven commitment to the teacher/scholar model and to public
and university service
* Demonstrated commitment to collegiality when interacting with
others within the University community
* Demonstrated commitment to working with multi-cultural
populations and awareness of issues affecting women and minorities
As a public regional university (with a graduate mission), Southeast

Compensation: Commensurate with education and experience.
Departmental Information: The Harrison College of Business is AACSB
accredited with approximately 1400 business majors in the College. The
Department of Accounting has 16 full-time faculty members encompassing
four disciplines: Accounting, Business Law, MIS, and Quantitative
Methods. In addition to offering a major in Accounting and minors in
Accounting, Business Law and Supply Chain Management, the department
provides support courses for the College. The department also supports
the MBA program in the Harrison College of Business.
University Facts: Southeast Missouri State University is a
comprehensive regional state university with seven colleges and schools,
11,500 students, and a faculty and staff of over 1,100. Southeast, a
moderately selective institution, offers baccalaureate, masters and
specialist degrees, and participates in joint doctoral programs with the
University of Missouri. Cape Girardeau, a historic city overlooking the
Mississippi River, is the hub of a thriving county with a population of
