TEMPORARY CLASSROOM CHANGE
THIS WEEK ONLY – Any classes scheduled in room 506 will be relocated to room 505. Signs will be posted.


PARKING UPDATES – STUDENTS ONLY
Several students have had questions regarding the change to handle parking payments directly with the city and how it affected pre-payments. Here is the most up-to-date information:


-         If you are paid in full for the Spring semester, your parking pass will remain in effect through May 5th. The city will be mailing you a bill for upcoming sessions near the expiration date– you will have the option to pay in full or go month-to-month.


-         If you have pre-paid parking for Maymester, Summer 1 or Summer II you will receive a refund check from Clemson in the mail for those sessions in the next couple of weeks. You will remain paid in full for Spring and receive a bill from the city for future semesters.



REMINDER - OUR FIRST MAJOR EVENT  - JANUARY 30TH
We will be hosting our first major donor event on Thursday, January 30th in the 5th floor auditorium, lobby and roof terrace. The event is an invitation only celebration for board members and other Clemson VIPs. Please try to avoid those areas of the 5th floor as much as possible from 5:30 – 8:30 pm on the 30th. No classes are scheduled on that floor during the evening so hopefully this will not be an inconvenience.


FURNITURE AND RECEPTION AREAS
Furnishings continue to arrive and the 5th and 8th floor reception desks are being installed this week. We will have staff members available at these desks during business hours and will be installing software to allow you to book the conference rooms directly. More info coming soon.


SIGNS
Restroom, office directory and other directional signage is due to be installed this week. We hope this will make it easier for you to locate classrooms and staff members on the 7th and 8th floors. In the meantime, please ask anyone for help and we will get you where you need to be.


CARPETED AREAS
The carpeted areas seem to be sustaining a large number of spills. Please continue to be extra careful with food and drink in these areas. We purchased larger cups for the coffee machine in the 6th floor break room so hopefully that will help. The cleaning crew will be coming through to spot clean but prevention is the best cure.

Associate Dean Greg Pickett was recently recognized as the Innovator of the Year by Business Black Box magazine. Be sure to congratulate him when you see hi and look for his cover debut on the latest issue of Business Black Box.
