 Dear REU PIs, Faculty and Staff Members:

In our efforts as a National Science Foundation and NASA grantee working to
promote resources for students in STEM, the Institute for Broadening
Participation provides current information on funding opportunities for you
to share with your students and colleagues --- particularly those activities
that support graduate students.  As you know, students who have one or more
REU experience are highly likely to pursue a graduate degree.   For this
reason we attempt to reach as many of these students as possible.  Students
can visit www.pathwaystoscience.org for specific programmatic information on
AGEP, GK-12,  IGERT, REU Programs, NASA One Stop Shopping Initiative and
others.

In addition, we suggest that students who are actively seeking information
on graduate school may want to fill out our on-line form:

or the student information form (attached) which can be forwarded to our
office by mail or fax.  This will enable us to provide them with timely
information about graduate school scholarship/fellowship/traineeship
opportunities, research opportunities, and new programs, and remind them
about deadlines.

pursuing careers in STEM. Please let us know if we can provide any other
information you may find helpful for your students.
