I just wanted to let those of you who have been thinking about/praying for Jay (my friend who was hit by a car) that he is doing really well. I spent a couple hours with him Saturday and about 9 hours yesterday. He has been improving day by day, with no neurological therapy. It is just amazing to watch him eat and speak and move his body around when just weeks before they had to teach him what his tongue was again. The doctors are just in awe saying it is unexpected and remarkable because it has just been him and his family and friends for weeks...no treatment. But we all know it is the prayers and God that has been doing this wonderful work in him. He left early this morning to go to Shepherd's in Atlanta for rehab, and we are still raising money. I just wanted to give an update full of the good news! Thank you for the thoughts and prayers. I hope you enjoy the rest of your summer.
