Save the date for SUMS 2006!

The second annual Shenandoah Undergraduate Mathematics and Statistics
(SUMS) Conference will be held on Saturday, October 28, 2006 at James
Madison University in Harrisonburg, Virginia.

The SUMS Conference is a one-day undergraduate research conference that
will feature undergraduate speakers, a poster session, two invited
speakers, and panel sessions. Registration and lunch are free. Limited
travel funds are available. This year, SUMS participants are also invited
to a special reception for the Contemporary Mathematical Photography and
New Media Exhibit at the New Image Gallery on the evening of Friday,
October 27.

Please pass this email along to any students that you think would be
interested in presenting a research paper or a research or expository
poster at SUMS, and to other faculty members that might have such
students. If you have any students that you would like us to add to our
personal invitation list, please let us know.
