Three Tenure-Track Faculty Positions (Open Rank) in Industrial & Systems Engineering at Auburn University

The Department of Industrial & Systems Engineering (ISE) at Auburn University invites applications for three open-rank tenure-track (Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor) positions in the following areas:

1. Advanced Manufacturing, AI/ML, and Data Analytics/QSR: Candidates should have research and teaching expertise in the areas of AI-Manufacturing, Machine Learning (ML), Data Analytics, and Quality & Statistical Reliability (QSR), with preference given to those applying data analytics and ML in manufacturing contexts. Candidates are expected to have a strong theoretical and practical understanding of modern ML, including concepts, methods, tooling, and workflows. Specific areas of research interest include Industry 4.0, AI/ML-driven manufacturing, manufacturing system design and development (including machine-to-machine networking and data collection), data analytics, Smart Manufacturing, Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT), and systems analysis for manufacturing. Application Review: November 17, 2025.
