Organizing a session is a great opportunity to strengthen our Decision Analysis community and to network around a research theme. Please let us know by Friday, March 10, 2023, if you are interested in organizing a session, along with the type of session, and your session's (working) title/theme.
There are five main types of sessions: Flash Session, Award Session, Panel Session, Community-Committee's Choice Session (formerly General Session), and Poster Session.
As the session chair, your responsibilities will include:
* Organizing a research presentation session with 4-5 speakers. Submit the speaker information by 11:59pm May 2, 2023. Note that an attendee may only present one talk at the conference. Please make sure your speakers have not committed to another session. This applies to Community/Committee's Choice Sessions (formerly General Sessions), Contributed Sessions, and Flash Sessions. In addition, attendees may participate in up to one panel session.
* Ensuring all committed speakers have entered title, abstract, and co-authors by 11:59pm May 16, 2023;
* Encouraging all speakers to complete registration by August 1, 2023, 11:59PM EST; and
* Chairing the session at the conference, which includes introducing speakers and keeping track of time.
If you are not interested in organizing a session but interested in contributing an individual presentation in the DA Cluster, you are also very welcome. Please submit an abstract by May 16 at meetings.informs.org/wordpress/phoenix2023<https://nam12.safelinks.protection.outlook.com/?url=https%3A%2F%2Fmeetings.informs.org%2Fwordpress%2Fphoenix2023%2F&data=05%7C01%7Cjzhuang%40buffalo.edu%7Ccfdd17968337447cb41108db111acb67%7C96464a8af8ed40b199e25f6b50a20250%7C0%7C0%7C638122579002106824%7CUnknown%7CTWFpbGZsb3d8eyJWIjoiMC4wLjAwMDAiLCJQIjoiV2luMzIiLCJBTiI6Ik1haWwiLCJXVCI6Mn0%3D%7C3000%7C%7C%7C&sdata=eSQShQpUYcx82fsWNcj5i3hqBimfkgxcq%2F8JMmfBo6s%3D&reserved=0>submit/
Please let us know if you have any questions. We look forward to hearing from you.
