The School of Mechanical, Industrial and Manufacturing Engineering is seeking a qualified candidate for a salaried, Academic Wage: Research Associate (Engineering Education) position. This is a full-time (1.00 FTE), 12-month, fixed-term position. This position is anticipated to last approximately 10 months.

This Research Associate will train and mentor graduate and undergraduate student researchers, help design and carry out experiments, and conduct original research in engineering education, with a specific focus on the content areas of mechatronics and advanced manufacturing. The incumbent will have knowledge in engineering education research methods. Note that content expertise is not required in these fields, but the Research Associate will be expected to work closely with field experts. This position will also include assisting with the evaluation and design of online courses as a part of an NSF-funded project in manufacturing engineering and mechatronics.
