The Edward P. Fitts Department of Industrial and Systems Engineering at
North Carolina State University is pleased to invite applications, and
accept nominations, for an open rank tenured or tenure-track position with
an anticipated start date of August 2023.  Applicants with experience in
the following areas are particularly encouraged to apply,

   - Next-generation manufacturing with specialization in areas including
   Automation & Robotics and Digital & Smart Manufacturing
   - Optimization or data science (methodologically strong; any
   applications can relate broadly to ISE)
   - Expertise in data science or artificial intelligence with focus in
   regenerative medicine, biomanufacturing, genomics or closely related life
   sciences areas
   - Emerging or traditional areas of ISE including artificial
   intelligence, interface of health and environment, sustainability and
   supply chains, humans and technology, health analytics, or others.
