Just an FYI .. that a new, improved, and free textbook is available for teaching Discrete Event Simulation at your institutions..
Dave Sturrock holds an Adjunct Appointment at the University of Pittsburgh and is also a Technical Fellow at SIMIO.
He has been teaching a Simulation Application course for us for many years now.. Congratulations to Dave on his new textbook!

FYI, the new 6th edition of the popular simulation textbook Simio and Simulation: Modeling, Analysis, Applications is now available. And it is now available as a free-access online book. I will be using this in IE-2188 and I encourage others to use it in any other course that includes simulation. It is a mature (6e), comprehensive (~450 pages) book, including Industry 4.0, that students can now use at no cost. Please help me spread the word.
