The CETYS University College of Engineering seeks

candidates to participate in the *selection process *

for the position of:







*Full-time professor of* the Mexicali Campus School of Engineering,

with the following considerations:







*REQUIREMENTS*

*Academic degree*



Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in the
Industrial Engineering field.





*Languages*



Bilingual: Spanish and English.  Ability to communicate effectively in both
languages. Must provide TOEFL score no older than two years (unless the
Ph.D. was earned from a university where English is the language of
instruction).





*Experience*



·         Teaching experience in undergraduate and graduate levels of at
least three years.

·         Professional experience in the field of Industrial Engineering of
at least three years.

·         Participation in research projects in areas related to Industrial
Engineering.

·         Academic productivity with publications in the field of
Industrial Engineering.

·         Knowledge of institutional and academic program accreditation
processes at the national or international levels

(such as CACEI, ABET, WASC, FIMPES).



*Skills*



·         Teaching skills in higher education. Affinity to the CETYS
University educational model and student-centered learning.

·         Leadership skills for multidisciplinary group management and goal
attainment. Resource and people management for academic projects.

·         Mastery of information and communication technologies.

·         Experience in formulation and conduction of research projects.





*Personal Qualities*



·         Integrity, honesty and high ethical standards.

·         Ability to take responsibility and commit to the philosophy and
values of the CETYS University System.

·         Broad perspective, dedication, adaptability and spirit of

·         Ability to make decisions and solve problems with a positive

*Academic activities*



·         Teaching of undergraduate and graduate students. Participation in
tutoring for student retention.

·         Ensure the attainment of institutional, program and course
learning outcomes/competencies, and work on the instrumentation of actions,
initiatives and processes for goal-attainment in this area.

·         Formulation and conduction of research projects within the lines
of research of the area.

·         Participation in processes dedicated to the attainment and
maintenance of national and/or international program accreditations.

·         Participation in different academic processes through academies
and other faculty groups.

·         Promotion of the Distinctive Elements of CETYS Education:
internationalization, information literacy, entrepreneurship,
sustainability, linkage, and social responsibility.
