It's my pleasure to announce that Yu Ding (Texas A&M) has agreed to become the next Editor-in-Chief of IISE Transactions and Heather Nachtmann (Arkansas) has agreed to be the next Editor-in-Chief of The Engineering Economist. We are fortunate to have such accomplished and dedicated individuals willing to serve our professional community in this capacity. Both individuals have well established research records, journal editorial experience and a long history of involvement with their respective journal. To ensure the continued vibrancy and relevance of our profession, I encourage you to submit your best research to these and all of our IISE journals, and to continue to absorb and disseminate the results reported therein.
Second, I also want to express my thanks, on behalf of IISE and the entire ISE community, to Jan Shi and Sarah Ryan whose four year terms as current Editors-in-Chief of IISE Transactions and The Engineering Economist respectively expire December 31st. We have been fortunate to have such dedicated leaders for our journals. Under their leadership, ISE has proven itself to be a vibrant and impactful profession with much to offer, including a leadership role in shaping our rapidly changing world. Please join me in thanking each of them for their service.
