[Iefac.list] Session Brochure for QSR Student Introduction and Interaction Session & Best Student Poster Competition

Dear Colleagues:

During the 2020 INFORMS Annual Meeting, the Quality, Statistics, and Reliability (QSR) cluster organized a Student Introduction and Interaction Session & Best Student Poster Competition, wherein PhD students participated in showcasing their research through a brief elevator speech and a poster presentation. The session also included a mini panel discussion with QSR invited guests on how to land academic positions, navigate academic life, research and teaching, etc.

In an attempt to further bring our PhD students into the spotlight, especially those on the job market this year, we herein distribute a brochure with all student speakers' bios and posters. We envision this brochure as a great resource for department chairs, members of search committees, and professors in hiring departments in the fields of ISE, data science, quality, statistics, and reliability, to glance through this brochure, and potentially look for candidates fitting their department search criteria.
