The Department of Industrial Engineering and Management (IEM) in the Maroun Semaan Faculty of Engineering and Architecture (MSFEA) at the American University of Beirut (AUB) invites applications for tenure-track and tenured faculty positions in Industrial Engineering at all ranks.  Applicants interested in a one-year or one-semester visiting positions may also receive consideration.  AUB is a historic university with programs of study in all major fields and a large medical center.

Applicants for this position should hold a Ph.D. degree in the area of Industrial Engineering or in a closely related field, with at least one degree in engineering.  Candidates with research interests in all industrial engineering areas, especially in manufacturing systems and quality engineering, are encouraged to apply.

 The successful candidate is expected to teach graduate and undergraduate courses in the candidate's field, participate in program development, and be active in research.

 Applications must include a letter of interest, statements of teaching and research interests, complete curriculum vitae, and the names and contact details of at least three references.  Consideration of the received applications will begin as of December 15, 2019 and will continue until all positions are filled. The proposed starting date for all positions is August 15, 2020.  Salary will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.
