[Iefac.list] Call for Abstracts/Papers, FAIM 2020 - Athens, Greece, June 15-18, 2020

Dear Colleagues,

The 30th International Conference on Flexible Automation and Intelligent Manufacturing (FAIM2020 - www.faimconference.org<http://www.faimconference.org> ) will be held in Athens, Greece, June 15-18, 2020, hosted by the National Technical University of Athens, Greece's oldest and most prestigious university.  The theme of FAIM2020 is "Multiple, complementary and evolving facets of modern manufacturing: holistic synthesis" pointing to its four thematic pillars underpinned by automation and intelligence streams:
*Manufacturing processes
*Machine tools and manufacturing equipment
*Manufacturing systems
*Enabling technologies

All papers presented at FAIM2020 will be published as 'gold open-access' in 'Procedia Manufacturing' (Elsevier), indexed by Scopus and until recently by Thomson Reuters ("Conference Proceedings Citation Index").
Authors of high caliber manuscripts may opt for concurrent review of their manuscripts for fast-track publications in two top journals - 'Robotics and CIM - An International Journal',  or 'International Journal of Advanced Manufacturing Technology', provided that authors do present their accepted manuscripts  in the conference.  Additionally, a special issue of 'International Journal of Computer Integrated Manufacturing' will be launched to accommodate extended versions of selected top conference papers, shortly after the Conference.  An excellent Scientific Committee of internationally renowned academicians will safeguard high quality of accepted papers.

1 November 2019            Abstract submission deadline, Special sessions proposal deadline (optional, but highly encouraged)
15 November 2019          Notification of abstract acceptance
15 January 2020                Full paper submission deadline
15 February 2020              Notification of paper review result, Early bird registration opening
15 March 2020                   Submission of final version of manuscript
31 March 2020                   Final paper acceptance
15 April 2020                      Early bird registration deadline
1 June 2020                         Regular registration deadline
15 June 2020                      Conference starts
