I would like to share with you that the recently launched ASTM Journal of Smart and Sustainable Manufacturing Systems has been approved for indexing in the Emerging Sources Citation Index (ESCI). The ESCI was established last year to "extend the universe of publications in Web of Science to include high-quality, peer-reviewed publications of regional importance and in emerging scientific fields."

The ASTM SSMS journal fosters transdisciplinary research that crosses the boundaries of information science, systems engineering and engineering design, manufacturing, and the product life cycle with a focus on how to make manufacturing systems smarter and more sustainable.
