The Industrial and Manufacturing Engineering Department at Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo, invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track, academic year faculty position at the Assistant or Associate Professor rank beginning Fall 2019.  The successful candidate will be expected to develop and teach both undergraduate and graduate courses in industrial engineering, establish an externally-funded research program, contribute to mentoring students, and provide services to the department, the college, the university, and the community.  A Ph.D. degree in industrial engineering, systems engineering, management science, operations research, or a closely related field is required.  We are particularly seeking to hire a candidate with teaching and research interests in supply chain management/logistics; engineering management; systems engineering; or information systems applications in industries such as healthcare, energy, finance, information services, and manufacturing. Candidates with relevant industry experience are encouraged to apply.  Salary will commensurate with qualifications and experience.
