*Call For Papers: Special issue of The Engineering Economist on
"Engineering Economics Education"*
Engineering economics education has played an important role in *The
Engineering Economist* since the journal's inception. The journal has
included numerous articles, book reviews, notes, and commentary that
encourage improved learning of engineering economics topics. The sharing
of this knowledge has led to the advancement of engineering economics
education that has seen it go from tables to spreadsheets, from quizzes to
clickers, and perhaps back again. However, at the foundational level,
engineering economics has a major role in engineering curricula throughout
the world.
The purpose of this special issue is to document current advances in
engineering economics education that have led to improved student
learning. Topics may include but are not limited to:
- innovations in course and curriculum design,
- innovative teaching methods,
- assessment both within and outside of the classroom,
- integrating engineering economy research into the classroom,
- teaching engineering economy to diverse populations of students, and
- international aspects of engineering economy education.
Only full papers will be considered for publication. Taylor & Francis
facilitates online supplements in a variety of formats, which could include
spreadsheets, software and/or multimedia.
