[Iefac.list] DUE DATE FOR IIE 2016 NEW FACULTY COLLOQUIUM

Colleagues,

Due to a mix-up that was completely my fault, two deadlines were advertised for the new faculty colloquium. One date was posted on the IIE website (March 18th deadline) and the other was distributed via email announcements (February 8th deadline). The Feb 8th deadline deviated from our traditional deadline because we decided this year to move the deadline up to assist departments with early planning by notifying them of early of acceptances. Early notifications helps with budgeting, of course.

However, at this time, we will have to use the later deadline of March 18th, since some were planning to submit around the more traditional 3/18 deadline that was posted on the website. Thus, the deadline for the NEW FACULTY COLLOQUIUM nominations is March 18th. All notifications will be made as soon as possible after the 18th and likely before March 30th given the urgency of the matter in terms of planning.
