Dear Colleagues,  We appreciateyour help disseminating the following announcement among your undergraduatesenior students: IEOM Society is organizing the SixthInternational Conference on Industrial Engineering and Operations Management(IEOM) to be held at JW Marriott Hotel, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, March 8-10,2016. We are inviting undergraduate senior students to participate in CapstoneStudent Design Project/Poster Competition.


 
The IEOM Capstone Student Design Project/FinalYear Project (FYP) Presentation Competition willrecognize outstanding design project in the field of industrial engineering,manufacturing engineering, systems engineering, engineering management andoperations management prepared by student team. Capstone student design projectteam can showcase their engineering design project by submitting a summary ofthe project as an abstract / poster and present it. It should highlight problemsolving, creative thinking, innovation, project planning, and teamwork througha challenging design and build project. Each submission must be presented atthe IEOM 2016. The presentations will be judged based on the technical contentand presentation. Winners will receive award certificates. The winning awardswill be given at the 2016 IEOM Annual conference award banquet on March 9,2016. First, Second and Third winners will receive award certificatesand a monetary prize based on the sponsorship.
