The Career Paths Subcommittee within the Center for ADVANCING University of Houston (UH) Faculty Success (see http://www.uh.edu/advance/ for more information) invites you to participate in research project that will help develop a better understanding about the ways in which a faculty member becomes a Department Chair and to identify the skills needed to be a Department Chair. Faculty that are currently or have previously served 1) as a Department Chair or 2) on a search committee for a Department Chair (internal or external search) are welcome to participate.

Data collection for this project involves a survey, which will take approximately 10-20 minutes or less to complete. To access the survey, simply click on the link below (or copy and paste it into your browser).
