The International Conference on Flexible Automation and Intelligent
Manufacturing (FAIM) is the leading international forum for dissemination
of current research on all aspects of automation and manufacturing, and
highlights how theoretical models and principles underpin practice in a
production environment.

The 25th FAIM conference (Silver Anniversary of FAIM) which will build on
the success of earlier conferences, will be held in Wolverhampton, West
Midlands, United Kingdom from the 23rd - 26th June 2015. The conference
will link researchers and practitioners both from industry and academia
specialising in automation, manufacturing and other related engineering
disciplines from around the world.

The focus of the conference is to address the theme: *Designing for
Advanced, High Value Manufacturing and Intelligent Systems for the 21st
Century* and will be hosted by the Faculty of Science and Engineering,
University of Wolverhampton, West Midlands, WV1 1LY, United Kingdom.

The City of Wolverhampton, situated in the West Midlands region of the
United Kingdom, is easily accessible from most airports including
Birmingham International, Heathrow, Stansted, Gatwick, Luton and
Manchester. Train service to Wolverhampton from London Euston is only 90
minutes and the conference venue is a five minute walk from the
Wolverhampton Train Station.

FAIM 2015 Conference covers a wide range of topics including but not
limited to the following:

   - Additive Layer Manufacturing
   - Advanced Automotive and Aerospace Manufacturing
   - Computer Aided Design / Computer Aided Manufacture / Flexible
   Manufacturing
   - Engineering for Sustainability, Education and Training
   - Enterprise Knowledge Management
   - Environmental, Health and Safety Engineering
   - Industrial Engineering and Operations Management
   - Lean and Agile Manufacturing
   - Manufacturing Ergonomics and Human Factors
   - Manufacturing Operations Management and Optimisation
   - Manufacturing Processes and Technology
   - Manufacturing technology and Intelligent Systems
   - Modelling and Simulation
   - Product Design and Manufacture
   - Production Planning and Scheduling
   - Product, Process and Factory Integrated Design
   - Project and Risk Management Systems in Production and Construction
   Environment
   - Robotics and Computer Integrated Manufacturing
   - Supply Chain and Logistics
   - Technologically Complex and Innovative Products and Advanced Materials
   - Technology Management and Innovation

Papers describing case studies, action research and development of research
methodology are most welcome.

Authors are advised that acceptance of a submission for the conference will
be based on the full paper (up to a maximum of 8 pages), which will be
evaluated by three members of the International Scientific / Technical
Committee. However, prospective authors could choose to submit a draft
abstract in advance to confirm relevance to the conference theme.

Abstracts are expected to be written in English and should contain no more
than 300 words. Authors of accepted abstracts will be invited to submit the
full paper for further peer review prior to publication in the conference
proceedings. A maximum of two papers per presenting author will be
allowed. It is expected that at least one author per submission will
register for the conference in order to include the paper in the conference
proceedings.  Guidelines to manuscript preparation and submission via
EasyChair will be provided in due course.

A selection of papers to the conference will be recommended for publication
in international scientific refereed journals such as:

   1. Robotics and Computer-Integrated Manufacturing
   2. SME Journal of Manufacturing Systems
   3. International Journal of Advanced Manufacturing Technology.

Plant tours of Jaguar Land Rover and Banks Brewery are currently being
organised.
