Faculty positions in industrial engineering at the American University of
Sharjah


The Department of Industrial Engineering at the American University of
Sharjah invites applications for permanent faculty positions at all
levels, with preference for assistant professor level positions.  We are
seeking enthusiastic and dynamic candidates in the areas of operations
research, quality engineering, facility design and planning, simulation,
engineering management, and statistics. The department is particularly
interested in candidates with all educational degrees (B.Sc., M.Sc., and
Ph.D.) in Industrial Engineering. Duties will include teaching
undergraduate courses, at both introductory and advanced levels, in
industrial engineering, plus graduate courses in the well-established
Master program in Engineering Systems Management. Active involvement in
research and outreach activities and supervision of graduate students is
expected.

until the positions are filled. Successful candidates are expected to
assume duties on August 31, 2014.
