Non-tenured full-time faculty position in Industrial Engineering
The Department of Industrial Engineering at Ajou University, one of the top industrial engineering programs in Korea, invites applications for non-tenure track faculty positions at the Assistant or Associate levels. The department is one of the top Industrial Engineering programs in Korea, and has been home of strong research. The department has been ranked consistently in the top 5 according to the assessment by Korean media. The department has been the awardee of the prestigious ‘Brain Korea’ and ‘Brain Korea Plus’ programs with research funding from the Korean government. Ajou University is located in the middle of high-tech clusters, and its location provides ample chances of research projects with nearby private companies, including R&D centers of Samsung Electronics and Hyundai Motor Companies. · Salary: Commensurate with experience and qualifications (Range: 45,000,000 ? 64,000,000 KRW for an Assistant Professor, 56,000,000-73,000,000 KRW for an Associate Professor)

Qualifications
The successful candidate will hold an earned Ph.D. or equivalent in Industrial Engineering or a related field. Desired qualifications include a record of publication in top-tier journals. The originality and quality of research will be the main criteria in evaluating each candidate. Due to the strategic hiring of international faculty members for globalization, a priority will be given to non-Korean citizenship holders.
Responsibilities
The hired individual should conduct active interdisciplinary research with the current department faculty. Teaching responsibilities include teaching five courses per academic year.
