Call for Papers:    Data Mining - A Special Issue of Quality and Reliability Engineering International (QREI)

Submission due date: September 1, 2013.


Data mining has attracted enormous interest in multiple research societies in recent years. The knowledge and findings generated through data mining have also benefited a variety of application domains. This special issue of QREI welcomes submission of data mining methodologies and applications in various domains such as engineering, health care, bioinformatics, social sciences, finance, etc. In other words, papers on any data mining methodology or application that fits within the broad scope of QREI will be considered.



Papers must be prepared in accordance with the QREI standards and guidelines.  Submitted papers should be original, not previously published, and not under consideration for publication elsewhere.  All papers will be reviewed following the regular review procedure of QREI. Paper Submission
Please submit your manuscript through the on-line Manuscript Central at http://mc.manuscriptcentral.com/qre. Please select "Special Issue" under Manuscript Type of your submission and then select "Data Mining - Editors: Jing Li and Murat Kulahci" from the dropdown list of special issue titles. Important Dates:

  *   September 1, 2013:     Paper submission deadline.
  *   February 1, 2014:         Completion of review process.
  *   May 1, 2014:                  Final manuscripts due.
  *   August 1, 2014:            Tentative publication date.
