ISE Colleagues
Please circulate this judging opportunity in any pre-college networks to which you have access. The objective of this video contest effort is to bring ISE IAB to the attention of as many young minds as we can reach. In addition, anyone can be a volunteer judge. We just ask that those who are associated with a university that is presenting use non-biasness in their decision. The message below has two parts, a section that explains what this is about, and a section asking members of the target group to volunteer as judges.

Subject: 2013 IIE IAB YouTube Contest Judging Survey - Action needed before 4/13/13
May we ask your support in helping us achieve a balanced judging for our IIE IAB 'YouTube' video contest initiative.
We are looking to have as many pre-college students involved in the judging as possible within our target age groups.
* Jr. High
* High School
* Pre-Junior college year
If you know of anyone within this target group, we invite you to copy the text below into a personal email and relay it to them as soon as possible to meet our survey deadline of 4/13/13 . Ideal candidates can include;
* Your own immediate and extended family members
* High School or Jr. High School instructors
* Project Lead the Way contacts
* Youth group contacts; Scouts, church, clubs, etc.
In addition, we are inviting you to participate as judges for the contest and entrust that you will be ethically responsible in providing your non-biased scoring. This will allow you to score every submission, even if you have affiliations with the university.
Our survey voting poll is currently open with the details noted below.

IIE IAB YouTube Contest Volunteer Judges;
On behalf of the IIE Industry Advisory Board (IAB), we want to personally thank you for your time to support our initiative to promote industrial engineering (IE) to pre-college students as a volunteer judge. As a volunteer judge, we are entrusting that you will be ethically responsible in providing your non-biased scoring. This will allow you to score every submission, even if you have affiliations with the university.
We ask you to view thirteen creative 'YouTube' video's and select the top three based on your opinion on how effective each would be to create interest for a pre-college student (High School or Jr. High) viewer to look further into becoming an industrial engineering major. The videos which you will be judging were all created by current IE students.

To assist in your scoring, think of the following points:
* Would the video create interest for a High School or Jr. High School student?
* Did it capture your own attention?
* Was the story and content interesting?
* Was it technically made well (not distracting)?
* How likely would you be to post the 'YouTube' link on your own 'Facebook' page?
To allow the voting to be validated and to advise our winners, we ask that be completed by end of day on Saturday, April 13th.
Thank you again for your time to help us promote industrial engineering as a great option for new students.
