Industrial Engineering and Operations Management (IEOM) Forum is organizing
third International Conference on Industrial Engineering and Operations
Management (IEOM 2012) which will be held in July 3-6, 2012 in Istanbul,
Turkey. The conference aims to provide a forum for academics, researchers
and practitioners to exchange ideas and recent developments in the field of
Industrial Engineering and Operations Management. The conference is also
expected to foster networking, collaboration and joint effort among the
conference participants to advance the theory and practice as well as to
identify major trends in Industrial Engineering and Operations Management.
Institute of Industrial Engineers (IIE), Institute for Operations Research
and the Management Science (INFORMS) and Operations Research Society of
Turkey(ORST) are co-sponsoring 2012 IEOM Conference.

Louis A. Martin-Vega, Dean of Engineering at North Carolina State
University, USA, and Past IIE President.

 

Day 2 Keynote Speaker: Dr. Gündüz Ulusoy, Professor, Manufacturing Systems
Engineering, Sabanci University, Istanbul, Turkey.

 

Accepted papers will be published in the conference CD-ROM proceedings.
Accepted presented papers will also be considered for publication in the
special issues in the selected International journals (Indexed by the Ei,
Compendex Plus, Scirus, Scopus, SciSearch etc.) subject to further review.

 

IEOM Undergraduate Student Paper Competition: 

The IEOM Student Paper Competition will recognize outstanding papers in the
field of industrial engineering and operations management written by
undergraduate student(s). Selected papers will be considered for the
competition and must be presented at the 2012 IEOM Annual Conference. The
paper will be judged based on the technical content and presentation at the
conference. Winners will receive certificate and monetary award based on the
sponsorship. The winning awards will be given at the conference dinner.

Best Track Paper Award: 

Best paper award recognizes outstanding paper for each track. The best track
paper award will be given at the IEOM 2012 conference dinner in Istanbul.
