FACULTY POSITION—INDUSTRIAL and MANUFACTURING ENGINEERING
School of Mechanical, Industrial, and Manufacturing Engineering
Oregon State University
The School of Mechanical, Industrial, and Manufacturing Engineering at Oregon State University seeks applications for a 9-month, tenure-track faculty positions in Industrial and Manufacturing Engineering. The appointment may be made at the Assistant, Associate or Full Professor level depending upon the qualifications of the applicant. Preference will be given to candidates with strong research and teaching experience in the areas of engineering management and lean systems engineering. Individuals with research interests in the management of complex, engineered systems in manufacturing, healthcare, or transportation are especially encouraged to apply. The successful candidate is expected to initiate new funded research as well as expand, complement, and collaborate with existing research programs in the school and college.
Applicants must hold a doctorate in a relevant field. Candidates for tenure-track positions should have a demonstrated ability or significant potential for excellent teaching, leading and collaborating in innovative research, and attracting the necessary funding to sustain a vigorous research program. Good verbal and written communication skills are a prerequisite. Salary and start-up packages will be commensurate with experience.
