Sun Yat-Sen Business School at Sun Yat-sen University (China) invites applications for tenure-track positions (all ranks considered, with preference at Assistant and Associate levels) in the Department of Management Science (e.g.,) starting in July 2012. Applicants should be productive researchers in the areas of project management, engineering management, reliability engineering and industrial and systems engineering.

SYSU is recognized as one of the nation's top 10 most prestigious and comprehensive universities in China, and is recently (2010) ranked 171st by the Times' (UK) World University Rankings. SYSU is located in Guangzhou, China's third largest city. Sun Yat-sen Business School (SYSBS) is one of the oldest and most prestigious business schools in China with its rich history and great glory. Today, SYSBS is regarded as a leading business education institution in the country with both the "211" and "985" quality marks certified by the central government, and is one of four prestigious institutions throughout China to be conferred the National Key Discipline for business administration. Compensation package is competitive in commensuration with international standard and with a candidate's qualifications. Start-up research fund and setting-in allowance will also be provided.

Teaching and Research

Lecturing in English is required with reduced workload (about 2-3 courses per year). Research productivity is a central requirement.
