MCPC 2011 Call for Papers and Speaking Proposals – Bridging Mass
Customization & Open Innovation - San Francisco - Nov 2011

*** Apologies for any cross-postings ***

Dear IE Colleagues

While we are celebrating 10 year anniversary of the MCPC conference, we
are happy to see that customization and personalization have been
gradually accepted in academic and industry. Many IE disciplines have been
integrated into this emerging technology and business. Our 2011 theme
will be "Bridging Mass Customization & Open Innovation".

The 2011 conference will be hosted and co-chaired by Henry Chesbrough from
the UC Berkeley Center for Business Innovation. Together, we want to
discuss the latest strategies, methods, practices, and technologies for
mass customization, personalization, user co-creation and open innovation.

And we invite you to co-create this conference with us!

For the open part of the conference (Nov. 18-19), we invite submissions
and speaking proposals. We especially welcome submissions from managers
reflecting upon the conference themes. For more information, please refer
to the Call for Papers & Speaking Proposals (also for download at
http://bit.ly/h0QC0O).

You can submit three types of papers: full papers; extended abstracts for
work in progress (about 3-5 pages); and speaking proposals from MCP
practitioners (in form of a PPT).

On the conference web site, you will soon find a detailed list of subject
areas and a full list of the members of the international program
committee. To submit a paper or presentation proposal, please use ONLY the
online submission system on the conference web site (www.mcpc2011.com)
which will be open for submission on March 1.

All submissions will be peer reviewed. The finale date to submit your
proposal is April 7, 2011.

Thanks a lot for your support!

Frank Piller and Mitchell Tseng,
MCPC 2011 Program Co-Chairs [http://mcpc2011.com ]
