 Our group at the Department of Industrial and Systems Engineering,
University of Wisconsin - Madison seeks a postdoctoral research associate
with expertise and interests in manufacturing process control, system
informatics, and industrial statistics. The person will take part in
developing novel industrial engineering tools for the scale up of a
nanocomposite manufacturing process. These tools include, but not limited
to, physically/statistically based process modeling, process optimization
and monitoring, quality control and variation reduction.

 This is a one-year appointment and could be extended to multiple years. The
start date can be as early as March 1st, 2011 or later. The candidate should
hold a PhD by the date of hire in industrial engineering or a related field.
