Aims and Scope
===============
The Third International Conference on Model-Based Systems Engineering,
IC-MBSE 2010 is a premier forum for the elicitation and exchange of
ideas on issues and problems regarding systems engineering and its
relation to the development, evolution, adoption, evaluation, and
dissemination of languages, methodologies, and approaches for conceptual
models of complex systems. In addition to research and practice papers
the conference will feature invited speakers, tutorials, and an
industrial exhibition.

Keynote Speakers
================
. Jeff Estefan, NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory
.    Sandy Friedenthal, Lockheed Martin
. Cecilia Haskins, Norwegian University of Science and Technology
.    John Long, Vitech

Call for Papers and Abstracts
=============================
We invite original research papers addressing any aspect of Model-Based
Systems Engineering. Topics include but are not limited to: conceptual
modeling languages and approaches, ontological foundations of system
engineering modeling languages, standards for systems engineering
models, object-process methodology for systems modeling and lifecycle
support, modeling languages and systems development methodology, human
cognition and human factors engineering, systems of systems
architecture, operations research models and their relation to systems
engineering, education for holistic systems thinking and modeling, and
human system integration. For further details on submission consult the
conference web site.

A paper may be submitted for presentation only at the conference and
will not appear in the conference volume. An abstract of 200-300 words,
not containing formulas, references, or abbreviations should be
