Dear All,

 

We are glad to inform you that we have received more than 210 submissions
from more than 30 countries for the International Conference on Industrial
Engineering and Operations Management, Dhaka, Bangladesh, January 9-10,
2010. We are also glad to inform you that we have selected three distinguish
keynote speakers for the conference. You can find their bios at the
conference website (http://www.iieom.org/).

§         Dr. Shabbir Ahmed, Associate Professor in the H. Milton Stewart
School of Industrial & Systems Engineering at the Georgia Institute of
Technology, Atlanta, USA.

§         Dr. Tasneem Pervez, Associate Professor in the Mechanical and
Industrial Engineering Department, Sultan Qaboos University, Muscat, Oman.

§         Dr. Abdur Rahim,  Professor in the Faculty of Business
Administration, University of New Brunswick (UNB ), Fredericton, Canada.

 

This is the first time; we are arranging this conference on IE/OM in
Bangladesh.  This is a great response during this economic downtime.  We are
expecting a great conference!
