*CALL FOR CONTRIBUTED PAPERS ON ENGINEERING EDUCATION*
2010 Industrial Engineering Research Conference
June 5-9, 2010
Fiesta Americana Grand Coral Beach Hotel
Cancun, Mexico
The IERC track on Engineering Education is a forum for educators to
share best practices and research focused on improving the educational
experiences of industrial engineering students. We would like to invite
you to submit a proposal for a presentation, a panel, or a tutorial to
be presented at the 2010 IERC Conference.
Proposals can be either descriptive papers about educational innovations
(with demonstrated assessment) or research that informs the practice of
engineering education. Topics can include but are not limited to:
· Classroom Assessment
· ABET Best practices
· Service Learning
· Innovative Teaching Technologies
· Graduate Programs Best Practices
· Graduate Recruiting
· Diversity
· Recruitment and Retention
· Instructional Innovations (case studies, laboratories, projects)
All submissions and reviews for the IERC will be done electronically.
Submission information is available at http://www.iieannual.org

An initial abstract of 200 or fewer words is required in all cases, and
contributors must specify the type of presentation. All contributions
for the conference will be peer-reviewed. If your presentation is
accepted, we ask that: (a) you and/or a co-author register for the
conference by April 2, 2010; (b) you and/or a co-author will attend and
present the paper at the conference; and (c) you are also willing to
serve as a reviewer for fellow presenters and follow review deadlines.

Abstract acceptance notification
December 20, 2009
Submission of papers (strongly recommended) January 30, 2010
Notification of acceptance/declines of papers March
15, 2010
Final paper
March 30, 2010
Presenting author registration
