The Industrial Engineering Program within the Mechanical and Industrial
Engineering Department at Montana State University invites applications
for one or more visiting faculty positions.  The IE program offers ABET
accredited BS degrees in Industrial Engineering, a MS degree in
Industrial & Management Engineering and a Ph.D. degree in Engineering
with an option in Industrial Engineering. The Program has strong
affiliations with the Western Transportation Institute and the Montana
Manufacturing Extension Center. 

Visiting professors will be expected to teach courses in one or more of
the following areas: computer integrated manufacturing, applied
statistics, quality assurance, design of experiments, facilities
planning and material handling systems design, project management,
operations research, and healthcare engineering. Other duties may be
assigned based upon candidate qualifications, interests, and
programmatic needs.  We look forward to collaborating with individuals
to in all areas, including establishing a healthcare extension program. 

An earned doctorate in Industrial Engineering or closely related field
is required. The term of the appointment may be to 12 months.
