I brought this up today but we quickly got diverted into other topics. I
would really like to discuss it next week.

And let me caveat the topic by saying that I have seen records of my
family, enslaved and free blacks and free whites, back to the 1830s. My
mother says we have ancestors in all those categories back to the American
Revolutionary War.

That being said I often return to this article from the time when 46-1 was
elected.
