This Wednesday is the first Wednesday of November and that means it’s time for us to break bread. We will keep things simple again this week and dine at Amici’s on hwy 93 across the street from the Clemson University tennis complex, however there will be some changes for the second lunch in November and the first in December. Be on the lookout for a special email about the December lunch in the next day or two as it will have some info that will need your immediate attention. Until then tomorrow’s topics include… the elections, did you vote? Did your candidates win? We will have a discussion on the rash of (Blanking) while Black, the new habit of calling the police on Black people who are engaged in ordinary behaviors. Do you think this should be criminalized? We will also discuss the NBA since I know none of you are watching in the NFL in support of Kaepornick. Bring your favorite Halloween pictures so we can discuss the nuances of Black face and white face as well. As usual reply to only me so I can know how many seats to ask for. This is important as the past two lunches we have had to ask for tables to be moved and added to accommodate those of you who don’t reply and let us know that you are coming. Hoping some of you new guys will show up that have never been otherwise we are going to start inviting you by name in the email. We know you get the emails, schedule lunch now on your calendars the first and third Wednesday of every month at noon. Bring a new BG with you. Special thanks fo BG Billy D’ who not only showed up last month but treated us all to a good meal.
