Brother White,

This is the only white man who belongs to the BG group as an honorary member.  I know I haven't made it to many lunches, but this time of the year for me is 100 mph.

Curtis, I congratulate you on your announcement and invite you to site in an executive suite for one of our games.  You have always been one of my favorite faculty members and I will miss just talking to you.  Seems like guys in the BG club have more sense and reason than others around here.  Maybe it's my Italian heritage that connects me to you all.

I wish you the very best of luck and success and hope you won't be a stranger.  I can understand that it has been a good train ride, but I'm concerned this train is slowing down for many of us.  Anyway, I will be at the next BG luncheon.  Thanks for all you did for Clemson.

Hey all.  This has been a wonderful train ride but my stop is coming up.  Yep, I have decided to retire as of Dec. 15th.  My plans are to continue working on a part time basis as long as the admin. hires me.  I have seen a few highs and many lows since coming here in 1989.  In spite of it all, we have managed to weather the storm.  My prayer is that we continue to do the same in the face of the current situation.  God bless.
