Some things to remember when writing and submitting your story:
1. Tell us a story about something that has happened to you or
someone you know; We are looking for real experiences. Be sure to
introduce your characters completely and draft your story with a
beginning, middle, and end.
2. Include the details! Tell your story in such a way that the
readers will feel what you have written and will connect with
your own experiences. Include actions, lessons learned, dialogue,
and anything else that will make it a powerfully strong story.
3. All stories should be non-fiction. Be sure to keep a copy of
your submission for your records as we are unable to distribute
your submission back to you.
4. We will only use original and unpublished articles and stories
at this time.
5. Please be sure to keep the length of the story under 2000
words, unless you feel the length is absolutely essential.
6. The process can take several months as we are developing these
projects. Please keep in mind that if your submission is accepted
for publication in any of our projects, you will be notified and
your permission to print will be requested by one of our
employees. At Paperclip Publishing, we will never print any
submission without your permission to print.
7. Lastly, you are welcome to submit more than one story. The
stories about your experiences can and will make an impact in
other professionals' lives!
