University Closed- MONDAY, January 21

Clemson University will be closed on Monday, January 21 in observance of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day.  Classes will not meet on Monday, January 21.


Mock Registration- January 23

iROAR...do you?  BE PART OF THE CHANGE!

Starting with Fall 2013 registration, Clemson University will be using a new student information system. To ensure a smoother transition the iROAR Project will host a Mock Registration for off campus students at Clemson At The Falls location. Given the major differences between the new and current registration systems we strongly encourage your attendance so that you will not have issues registering on April 1st.

During the Mock Registration students will be asked to register for classes and to provide feedback in a short survey. Laptops are required to participate. Pizza will be provided!

Date:  Wednesday - January 23, 2013
Time: Drop in from 3:00pm - 6:00pm
Location: CATF - Main Boardroom (first floor)
*It takes approximately 30 minutes to participate.

Clemson MBA Networking Forum- February 14

Please save the date for our annual Networking Forum.  It will take place the morning of February 14.  This is our yearly event where students will have one on one 10 minute interviews with area companies that are looking to hire. I will be sending out information on how to RSVP as well as the list of companies later this month so you will have an idea of who you will get the opportunity to meet.

2013 Clemson MBA Ethics Case Competition- March 5

Please see the attached announcement for the 2013 Clemson MBA Ethics Case Competition.  The event will be held at Clemson at the Falls on Wednesday, March 5 from 5:00-8:30pm.

Three teams of three MBA students will compete. Each team will have 15 minutes to present their response to a case, followed by 10-15 minutes of questions from the judges and other observers. A scoring rubric will be used and the judges will be representatives from various organizations around the Greenville Business Community.
Participating MBA students/team members will have the opportunity to attend, be introduced and to assist Linda Gallicchio (from the Rutland Institute) in an interactive "Ethics Day" presentation at the Rotary Club of Greenville. This is one of the best places to meet leading executives in the Greenville community, and is a great networking opportunity.  Prizes will also be awarded to the winning team.
Dr. Wueste from the Rutland Institute will host a practice session for all participating teams during lunch on February 19 .

Student IDs

There is currently a hold on the Tiger1 office making and sending out any additional student id's.  They are having a major system issue with the new process and until further notice will not make and mail them to us.  They did offer that if you need your ID sooner, you can drive to campus to their office where they can go into their system to check and ensure that all is good before printing it for you.
