Spring/Summer 2014 Schedule- NEW COURSE ADDED

Due to high demand, we have added an additional section of MBA 819- Intro to Accounting and Finance to the Spring 2014 Schedule.  The new section is CRN 17788 and will be Monday nights from 6-8:45pm.

The Monday night section (MBA 819, Section 002, CRN 17788) will be taught by: Professor McMillian and Professor Johnson

The Thursday night section (MBA 819, Section 001, CRN 16398) will be taught by:  Professor McMillian and Professor Xie

Gaining access to new facility- January 2-3
We will be moving to our new facility at One N. Main Street over the winter break in December.  On January 2nd and 3rd we will have open house hours from 4-7pm where you can come pick up your access card and take a tour of the new space.  You will enter at the first floor Main Street entrance.  You must stop by at some point during the open house on the 2nd and 3rd so that you are able to gain access to the building for the first day of classes on Monday, January 6.

We are very excited for you to see your new facility.  The classrooms are state of the art and there is plenty of great student space!

You will not be able to access your GS4 form (graduation application) until your GS2 has been approved and submitted to the Registrar's office.

Please join in celebrating the end exams and the beginning of the Holidays next Thursday, December 12. Our MBA Student Association will be hosting a "Tacky Sweater Party" at Sharkey's Pub at 7:00pm. Students are welcome to bring a guest and light appetizers will be provided. Please bring a toy or a $5 donation for Toys for Tots to participate.
To encourage festive participation, you will be able to purchase a tacky sweater on campus during exam week from 4:00pm-6:00pm Monday- Wednesday in the break room. All monies will be donated to Toys for Tots. Wear your tackiest sweater for the competition for a chance to win a prize!

TLC Accounting and Tax, Inc. is seeking a junior staff accountant. This individual will post client financials using QuickBooks Pro software, reconcile client banking and other types of statements to client records, perform general office and accounting related duties.

Desired qualities and skills: Desired qualities and skills: The successful candidate will be a self-starter, with the ability to multi-task, possess excellent organizational and communications skills, be an independent thinker, be knowledgeable in Excel and Word, and have a working knowledge of QuickBooks Software.
