Welcome to the new facility at Greenville ONE! We’re excited to have you here.

This is the first installment of a new weekly email to keep you informed of events or other announcements directly related to the building. This is not a replacement for the MBA Friday email although at times some information may overlap. I hope this will be helpful in keeping you up to date with current building policies and other events happening in the space.


FIRST WEEK OF CLASSES
Welcome to your first week of classes in the new space. If you have not yet picked up your electronic key fob please plan to arrive at least an hour early on your first day of class and pick it up from Jeremy Monday on the 5th floor. You will need your key fob to operate the elevator and to gain access to the building after 5:30 pm.

Please see the attached sheet outlining several rules for the new space including info on how to reserve conference rooms, dress codes, etc. (If you have already picked up your electronic fob you should already have received a hard copy of this sheet).


CONSTRUCTION AND FURNISHINGS
Several areas of the building are still under construction including the roof terrace, and new furnishings continue to arrive on a near-daily basis. We have done our best to schedule the work so that it will disrupt as few classes as possible but ask for your patience as we continue to finish out the space.

Please be aware of wet paint signs as the painters continue with their touch-up work on all floors of the building.

Room numbers and directional signs have been ordered and will be installed soon. In the meantime there are temporary signs on the classrooms and sticky notes on the offices. If you need to find a particular person please ask any staff member for assistance. The goal is to have everything complete in the building by January 30th.


WIFI ACCESS
Wi-Fi is currently working on all four floors of the building. If you have a password in EduRoam you should not have to do anything to gain access; the system should recognize you and automatically log in. If you experience difficulty please ask Jeremy Monday or Austin Sanderson from CCIT for assistance.


PAWPRINTS & PRINT LAB
Due to the network changeover the PawPrints printer is currently offline. Once we have full network connectivity on all floors, we will reopen the computer lab located on the 6th floor. In the meantime, please plan to print course materials prior to coming on site. We apologize for the interruption of service and will send a notification as soon as the network is up and the lab is open.

If you have not downloaded PawPrints please visit download.clemson.edu to do so – this will allow you to print from your laptop from any location within the building (details in the KEY FOB INFO attachment).


PARKING PASSES
If you have not yet applied for a parking pass and would like to, you need to fill out the attached form (Richardson garage city parking application) and take it and a $25 check payable to “City of Greenville” to the parking services office located at located at 1021 S. Main Street.  The $25 fee pays for the access card only – you still must pay monthly parking fees via the MarketPlace website: https://secure.touchnet.net/C20569_ustores/web/store_main.jsp?STOREID=41 . The attachment (parking info current students) outlines rates and other information for parking.

Please allow 2-3 business days to process and activate your parking card after submitting your form. Until it is activated you will have to pay the hourly rate in the garage or find alternate street/metered parking.


6TH FLOOR BREAK ROOM
Please remember there is coffee available in the 6th floor student break room at the back of the building – help yourself. Food and drink are permitted throughout the building but please be extra careful not to spill on the carpeted areas.
