Toastmasters Intro Meeting, February 13

Clemson MBA Networking Forum- February 14

The Networking Forum will take place the morning of February 14 from 9am-12pm.  This is our yearly event where students will have one on one 10 minute interviews with area companies that are looking to hire. Agendas will be emailed to those that RSVPed early next week along with instructions for the day.  I look forward to seeing many of you there!

Grainger Distribution Center Tour- February 21

Following our Corporate Briefing with Grainger last week, they have graciously invited us to visit their distribution center in Fountain Inn for a tour on Thursday, February 21 at 10:30am. iRoar for Fall 2013 Registration- April 1
Starting with Fall 2013 registration, Clemson University will be using a new Student Information System. We strongly encourage that you visit http://www.clemson.edu/iroar/ for information on how to use the new system so that you will not have registration issues on April 1st.

New Elective for Summer I

MBA 899-Section 402: Taxation of Business Decisions with Professor Judson Jahn.  This will be a 3 credit hour course that will count as one of your three required electives.  The course is offered on T/TH 6-9:30pm.   Please find the course description below:

MBA 899 - Selected Topics - Taxation of Business Decisions 3(3,0) Discusses the importance of taxation in business decision making.

Emphasizes the interrelationship of taxes, the choice of business form, and various business transactions; exposes students to the breadth of business decisions which are affected by the Federal income tax.  The course is designed for non-accounting students with little or no background in tax.

Junior Achievement- Biz Bowl
