[MBA-FT-Students] Reminder: MBASA General Meeting Today @ 5PM in Classroom 2C

Dear Tigers,

Just a friendly reminder that the MBASA will have a general meeting today at 5 PM in classroom 2C.  I have included the meeting agenda below.  I hope everyone will be able to attend.


Announcements:

SBDC Public Relations Workshop:  Friday, September 28, 9 am-11am

If you are interested in attending South Carolina Small Business Development Centers workshop, "Public Relations 101", then please email me by 10 PM on Thursday evening.  The MBASA has received a special student rate, so we are looking to sponsor up to 10 students to attend this workshop.  The SBDC office is located on the first floor of the CATF building.  Presently, there are eight positions remaining.


Update:  Sullivan Foundation Fall Retreat: Limited Sponsorship Opportunity

To everyone who has been inquiring about the Sullivan Foundation Fall Retreat, I am excited to announce that the MBA Program has agreed to sponsor up to 3 students to attend this Retreat.  If you are interested in attending this retreat, then you will need to prepare a one page essay outlining your interests and why this opportunity would be beneficial to you.  All applicants must submit their essay, via email, to Jamie Patterson (jpatte4 at clemson.edu<mailto:jpatte4 at clemson.edu>) by Wednesday, October 3rd at 8am.  A committee will then choose the winner(s) before the October 5th deadline to register.

About the Sullivan Retreat:

The Sullivan Foundation Service & Social Entrepreneurship Retreat Weekends introduce students, faculty, and staff to basic principles and best practices of community service and social entrepreneurship. Retreat weekends also provide an opportunity to engage with leading social entrepreneurs to explore ways to address the region's most critical social issues.
