Dear comrades,
Neil wanted me to send out the tex source file for the presentation I
gave on Chaitin's Omega constant. Mainly, Neil wanted you all to see
how to use the prosper package, which is a more powerful way to do
slides. In particular, the \overlays[n]{...} and \fromSlide*{x}
commands make it very easy to do "pauses" in the middle of math mode,
something which is rather difficult to do with texpower or powersem.
<http://amath.colorado.edu/documentation/LaTeX/prosper/> is a good place
to see some PDF demos of all the things prosper can do. Also there you
can find a link to the prosper homepage in case your tex installation
doesn't come with prosper.
Feel free to ask me any questions about the markup.
Sincerely yours,
Kenny Stauffer
