Hello all,

This is the second announcement of the 2006 CarMa (Carolinas Mathematics)
Undergraduate Research Conference.  This will be a one-day event, held on 
Friday, March 24, 2006 at Furman University.

The conference will begin with a plenary address by Peter Winkler of
Dartmouth College, titled "Geometry and the Intuition".  This will be
followed 
by lunch, with undergraduate presentations in the afternoon.

All interested undergraduates are invited to attend, along with their
faculty sponsors.  Undergraduates are encouraged to give talks on research 
they have conducted.   We welcome presentations in any area of mathematics.

Registration for the conference is free, and can be done online at the
conference website:

      http://math.furman.edu/carma

Submission of abstracts for talks can also be done via the website.
The deadline for registration is March 10.

Please encourage undergraduates that you know who might be interested to
consider attending.  Thanks, and we hope to see you in the spring.
