SYNOPSIS:
The sponsor provides support for graduate students working towards
the Ph.D. degree in the applied physical sciences. Eligible applicants
are college seniors wishing to pursue the Ph.D. degree in any of the
fields of particular interest to the sponsor, as well as graduate
students already in the process of doing so, who are citizens or
permanent residents of the U.S. Funding of $28,000 per nine-month
academic year for up to five years is available.
