This is to remind you of the “Ocean Dynamics” call for papers for a
Topical Collection on “Multi-scale Modeling of Coastal, Shelf and
Global Ocean Dynamics”. Articles for this topical collection may
address computational issues and/or present applications to multiscale
ocean dynamics.

An advantage of Topical Collection articles is that they are published
immediately after they are accepted. This means that slow papers no
longer affect the publication of other papers.

More than 10 manuscripts have already been submitted and are under
review. Manuscripts can be submitted until January 30, 2012, through
Springer's electronic editorial manager system (see
http://odyn.edmgr.com/ and
http://www.springer.com/earth+sciences+and+geography/oceanography/journal/10236
for more information).

Additional information is available on the announcement:
http://mseas.mit.edu/news/IMUM2011_2010_Announcement_v5.pdf and on the
Ocean Dynamics Springer website.

With our best wishes for 2012,

Sincerely,

Pierre Lermusiaux and the Guest Editors

Guest Editors are: P. Lermusiaux (MIT, USA), Jens Schröter
(AWI-Bremerhaven, Germany), S. Danilov (AWI-Bremerhaven, Germany), M.
Iskandarani (Miami, USA), N. Pinardi (Bologna, Italy) and J. Westerink
(Notre Dame, USA).
